Steamboat is a world class ski resort that offers an all-round great experience. The Steamboat ski resort has plenty of terrain and it’s covered in “champagne powder”, a term invented by Steamboat to describe the light fluffy snow that falls in abundance.

The ski resort sits near the town of Steamboat Springs which is commonly shortened to just “Steamboat” or called “Ski Town USA”. Steamboat has produced a large number of Winter Olympians, which speaks volumes for what this ski town has to offer.

Steamboat has a rich western heritage and you’ll find plenty of cowboys, ranches and horses. If you’re looking for celebrities and want to wear fur you might not fit in, but if you want to strut about in Stetson boots or wear a cowboy hat whilst skiing, you’ll definitely blend right in!  As an added bonus, the TSC will be in town during the annual Cowboy Downhill.  Should be a blast!!!

Dining in Steamboat:  Steamboat Springs is home to more than 100 restaurants representing the full spectrum of cuisine to satisfy every appetite.  From fresh game to fresh fish, flown in daily, every culinary delight set in a variety of atmosphere is waiting to serve up a delicious meal with a healthy helping of Western hospitality.

Accommodations: We are staying at The Eagle Ridge Lodge.  Located on the mountain side of the Eagle Ridge neighborhood, the each unit of the Lodge offers fully equipped kitchens, stone walled gas fireplaces, private balconies or patios and in unit washer/dryers.  Property amenities include outdoor hot tubs, heated pool, festive fire-pit, fitness center, steam room and massage services.  During ski season, our shuttle service will take you to skiing, shopping, dining, nightlife and other area activities.

Travel:
You may book your own air or purchase the group air option when signing up.  If you book your own air, you must arrive at Denver International Airport not later than 9:00am on 13 Jan and IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that your departure flight out of DEN on 20 Jan not be booked any earlier than 5:00pm in order to secure a spot on both LASC buses.  Transportation arrangements outside these guidelines can be accommodated on other club buses, subject to seat availability.

The Vibe: Cowboys meets Champagne Powder.

* Price of $950 Ground is per person, double occupancy. Single supplements extra. Does not include airfare, lift tickets, or ski rentals. Meals included are welcome reception, mid-week party, and TSC farewell banquet.
